چکیده

The aim of this study was to establish an experimental protocol for the artificial reproduction royal carp ‘Cyprinus carpio’ with hormonal induction spawning. For purpose, we conducted at aquaculture farm in Khemis Meliana (Ain Defla, Algeria). included six broodstock, 4 females and 2 males. Hormone injection performed dorsal muscle under fin. done successively by GnRH a dose 3 mg/kg males hCG 500 IU per kg weight. Fertilisation artificially dry method. After incubation eggs, binocular magnifying glass used check condition eggs development embryos over time. results obtained show that species possible, success ovulation fertilisation, hatching growth larvae. Stripping after 24 h stimulation temperature 21°C. Disaggregation efficiently whole milk. total number 552,000 weight 1104 g. average latency time 22 hours. rate days on spawning grounds 21±1°C 441,600 larvae (80%). Larvae food follow-up started from 3rd day post-hatching combination natural (rotifers) food. At end experiment, can conclude it is possible improve through proper use techniques improving feeding abiotic factors are dominant fish farming.

Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio

The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) belongs to the family Cyprinidae. In nature, carp live in the middle or lower reaches of a river with slow currents, or in marshes. Their habitats are usually weedy areas with a muddy bottom. Carp fry feed on zooplankton such as rotifers and copepods, but as they grow up they become benthic feeders, feeding on animals and other organic material. The cyprinids h...

Neurotoxicity in Young Carp (cyprinus Carpio L.)

For years scientists have suspected that the environment plays a role in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. Mycotoxin fumonisin B 1 (FB 1 ) is produced by several Fusarium species, mainly by Fusarium verticilioides, which is one of the most common fungi associated with corn worldwide. Fumonisins are known to cause equine leukoenc...

Music discriminations by carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Fish live in a medium that is an especially good conductor of sound, and the myriad extant species—some 25,000 in the class Osteichthyes (bony fishes) alone (Nelson, 1984)—have evolved diverse mechanisms for transducing acoustic stimuli. It should not be surprising if sophisticated functionality in the auditory domain turns out to be a major component of the perceptual and cognitive capabilitie...

Postprandial metabolic changes in larval and juvenile carp (Cyprinus carpio).

Ammonia-nitrogen excretion and oxygen consumption rates after a meal were followed in carp larvae and juveniles of different sizes, starting from early exogenous feeding and until they had reached about 1 g of body weight. There was an immediate rise in the nitrogen excretion rate after feeding; the amplitude and duration of this increase were affected by body weight (BW) and the amount of nitr...
